ALIVE!
I organized a neighborhood canned food drive that resulted in three carloads of donated food delivered to ALIVE! in time for Thanksgiving, thanks to the generosity of our neighbors.

I was honored to be the first sponsor of InspireLit’s holiday book giveaway at ARHA’s Winter Wonderland event. ARHA’s holiday efforts, including Winter Wonderland, brought joy to more than 1,300 Alexandria children and families.

MLK Day
VOLUNTEER ARLINGTON
This MLK Day, I volunteered with Volunteer Arlington and learned about the incredible work of the Animal Welfare League of Arlington.
One thing that stood out: when families face financial hardship, AWLA helps them keep their pets by providing free vaccinations, food, and essential supplies - and even partners with food pantries to support the whole family.
We ended the day with a scavenger hunt to collect items for foster families caring for pets in transition.
